Bob Bakas

Bob and Mary are full-time real estate agents, multi-million dollar producers, and are committed to selling homes. They believe the keys to a successful business are loyalty, communication and excellent customer service.

Bob started his real estate career in May 2002. Mary started in April 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona before moving back to the Chicago area. Bob and Mary met on April 13, 2005 and decided to combine their knowledge and expertise to form the Bakas Team. They were married on October 5, 2007. In August of 2008, the Bakas Team was proud to announce the addition of Judy Saraceno-Swenson to their team.

Bob and Mary are residents of Westchester.  They are members of the Chamber of Commerce. Bob is a director and Mary is the Chamber secretary. They volunteer with local non-for profit organizations including Miracles in Progress and Relay for Life as well as the Diving Infant Holy Name Men’s Club, Westchester Fest, 4^th of July Parade and VeteRun.

Bob and Mary are licensed Realtors® in the state of Illinois.

Mary has a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.

Bob completed the Certified Negotiation Consultant (CNC) Certification in March 2009.

Bob completed the Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) Certification in October 2009.
